URL: IEEE Journals

This database gives you full text access to articles printed in most IEEE publications from 1998 to the present. It does NOT give you full text access to conference papers nor articles published before 1998. It is a good database to look for articles and papers published by IEEE, but the INSPEC database will provide you with IEEE publications plus a world of non-IEEE publications. You can do keyword searches in this database, but INSPEC was designed for sophisticated searching. I recommend using INSPEC. Our library does have an excellent collection of back issues of IEEE journals, so you could use it to see if we have articles on a particular subject in the library.

Dates of Coverage: For full text, 1998. For citations and abstract, much earlier.

List of journals indexed:The title list starts on the homepage with references to related publications. Note: IEEE journals are forever changing their titles so this is an excellent feature that gets you to earlier or later incarnations of the publication.

Update Schedule: When journal becomes available. Conference publications have a one or two month delay.
