Classical Music Library, is the world's first streaming classical music service for libraries that enables listening and learning at library and home computers. This database enables you to listen to classical music from the confort of your own computer.. Information about the composer is often provided. You may browse the database by composer, genre, performer, or title of work. This database has several severe limitations: Sometimes the indexing is not up to snuff. For example, if you were to search for Bach as the composer and cello as the instrument, you will run into some confusion. Call up Bach, Johann Sebastian and click on instrument and cello is nowhere to be seen. Click on "more" and there is an alphabet at the top of the screen. Go to "C" and click on cello. Another limitation is that you don't have very many "big name" performers (e.g. Perlman, Yo Yo Ma, etc.). or orchestras (N.Y. Philharmonic, Cleveland Symphony, etc.).
