ATLA Religion Database is the premier index to journal articles, book reviews, and collections of essays in all fields of religion. This comprehensive bibliographic database spans 50 years. The database covers the subdisciplines in the fields of theology and religion, plus religious research in related fields such as sociology, anthropology, psychology, history, medicine, law, and business. The ATLA Religion Database includes a full range of index citations to journal articles, essays in multi-author works, and book reviews from three ATLA print/online indexes:

Religion Index One: Periodicals (RIO)

Religion Index Two: Multi-Author Works (RIT) Index to Book Reviews in Religion (IBRR) RIO annually indexes more than 12,000 articles in and related to the field of religion from 575 fully and selectively indexed journals and 100 scanned journals. Abstracts are included for 1975-1985. RIT annually indexes more than 8,000 essays in and related to the field of religion from more than 500 books, international in scope. It covers multi-author books that are primarily scholarly in nature, including Festschriften, conference proceedings, and congresses.
